We have assembled a great collection of WASL and WASL-like problems.

1. The first is from a set of Problems from the Meany Middle School WASL Academy, 2004 We met with some of the 7^th grader students at Meany Middle School for an hour after school twice a week for about 10 weeks prior to the WASL. Each week we focused on a different math strand and had parents and other community adults working as table leaders/mentors. For each problem set, there is also an answer key with an explanation for most of the problems. There is a menu of suggested questions the adults could draw from to start the problem discussions.

2. Problems from the Port Angeles School District Problem Bank. Port Angles has collected a very rich set of problems arrange both by grade level and then broken down by strand. They have also included a collection of Problem Solving strategies around sample problems.

3. Each year OSPI has released 15-18 problems from the previous springs’ WASL Here are the links for Problems from the OSPI WASL Released Items Bank.
